Sweet & Sour Orange Chicken

These fine crust chicken pieces covered with an orange flavored sweet and sour sauce are irresistible

Ingredients for 4 people

Marinade

• 500g chicken thighs
• 1 tsp grated ginger
• 1 tsp Shaoxing cooking wine
• 1 tbsp vegetable oil
• ½ tsp of salt
• Ground pepper
• 1 egg white
• 100g cornstarch

Sauce

• 2 tbsp sugar
• 2 tbsp white rice vinegar
• 1 tbsp light soy sauce
• 1 tsp dark soy sauce
• 1 tbsp black rice vinegar
• 1 tbsp chili paste
• 1 pinch salt
• Ground pepper
• A little orange zest
• The juice an orange

and also

• 1 tsp grated ginger
• 2 garlic cloves
• 2 spring onion
• 10g cilantro
• ¼ an orange
• 1 tsp cornstarch
• 1 tbsp vegetable oil
