Yakisoba
Japanese Stir-Fried Noodles

The art of assembling noodles, meat, cuttlefish and an amazing sauce



Ingredients for 4 people

  • 400g fresh noodles or 300g dehydrated noodles
  • 200g pork belly
  • 200g squid
  • 200g green cabbage
  • 1 carrot
  • 100g mushrooms
  • 1 spring onion
  • 1 onion
  • 1 pinch salt
  • Ground pepper
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • Pickled ginger
  • Nori seaweed flakes,
  • or 1 sheet of nori seaweed
  • Shichimi powder

Seasoning sauce

  • 2 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp Worcester sauce
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
